A few years ago I went to the hospital with severe abdominal pain long story short I was diagnosed with GERD. Besides the normal steps to help with GERD like avoiding triggering foods. I found that starting the morning by making sure my stomach is balanced and has healthy gut bacteria. Most people do not consume the correct vegetable and fruit portions throughout the day. If you do props but I am definitely not one of those people. So, I drink my recommended portions and start the day off right. You should and can make adjustments to the recipe below so it fits your preferences, but I think this recipe has great foundational ingredients that you can add to or adjust as you see fit.

Any super green powder will work. I like Nested because they have simple ingredients and no sugar.

I opt for almond milk and vanilla flavoring it think it pairs well with the chocolate super greens.

Lastly the peanut butter!

The finished product. It is just a great breakfast alternative that really get’s your gut in balance and gives you all your vitamins to help you conquer the day!

Banana Bread

Good morning all! Today I wanted to share will y’all a pretty regular recipe for my house. My fiancé loves bananas, but they tend to go bad so fast before they can all be consumed. I personally don’t like to waste food. It was how I was raised, and it almost physically hurts my to through away food. So, I make Banana Bread once or twice a month depending on the availability of over ripened bananas in my house. I love it because not only is it a great breakfast or dessert, but I also give it away if I have too much. I love to gift it to my family, friends, and coworkers so that they can enjoy but also, so it doesn’t go to waste. The best thing about baking is sharing it with others. So, they next time your family or you don’t eat your bananas make some bread and share the love!

First step is to gather all the ingredients.

Then I mash the Bananas. I find a fork works perfectly.

I combine all the ingredients and mix.

Here is half of my dough with the chocolate chip. Those are my favorite.

My second half of the dough with walnuts. Those are Daniels favorite.

Then my mini loafs are ready to be put into the oven.

The finished product!
